I will start by telling you why this picture represents Shonto Canyon Jewelry. . My Great Grandparents had Shonto Canyon Trading Post, they past it down to my grandmother and then my mother. This is my daughter so it is the face of 5 generations of Indian art traders. Growing up around Native Americans, their culture and arts has made a big impact on my beliefs and how I honor the land we live on. The dress my daughter is wearing is vintage, the Squash Blossom belonged to my Grandmother and my daughter has the most beautiful blue eyes that remind me of the sky and water which Native Americans honor. My family history has made it possible for me to do what I do today ,help create jewelry that is handcrafted, with meaning, and great intention plus continue to work with and help support the Native American culture and the arts they make. I LOVE what I do !!!!!!!!!! Love Jewelry!!!! Love the AMAZING people that purchase and wear the pieces that are created for Shonto Canyon Jewelry.
